About

I began my career in 2003 as a network and system engineer. I discovered a passion for networking while I was pursuing my first professional certification at the age of 19. Since then, I passed several vendor certifications from Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks. I worked for enterprises, service providers and on various educational and research projects, primarily as a network engineer or as an independant consultant.

Along with my focus on networking technologies, I spent a lot of time working on computer systems and on Open Source Software (OSS) solutions. Over the years, I have gained knowledge and experience on these parallel IT domains, which today, allow me to quickly adapt to the new and latest industry's innovations.

Today, I keep studying and focusing on IP Routing & Switching, IPv6, MPLS, VPNs, Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). When I'm not behind a computer or reading books, you can find me riding my mountain bike across the Swiss Alps.
